About Us
Fayetteville-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting families through food security, recovery support, and practical life resources
At KWIT, we believe that strong families build strong communities. Based in Fayetteville, our nonprofit is dedicated to uplifting families by addressing some of life’s most pressing challenges—food insecurity, recovery support, and access to essential resources.
our mission
Our mission is simple but powerful: to empower families with the tools, support, and hope they need to thrive. Whether it’s providing nutritious meals, guiding individuals through recovery, or connecting families with practical life resources, KWIT stands as a beacon of compassion and stability.
what we do
-
Food Security: From food distributions to partnerships with local organizations, we ensure that families have consistent access to healthy, nourishing meals.
-
Recovery Support: We walk alongside individuals on their journey to healing, offering encouragement and resources that promote lasting recovery.
-
Practical Life Resources: From household essentials to everyday necessities, KWIT bridges the gap so families can focus on what matters most—living and growing together.
why we serve
We know that behind every statistic is a story, a face, and a family working to overcome challenges. Our work is grounded in dignity, hope, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to succeed.

We need to reshape our own perception of how we view service. We have to step up as a community and take the lead.

impact 2025
Over the past year, KWIT has:
-
Provided thousands of meals to families experiencing food insecurity.
-
Supported individuals on their journey to recovery, offering resources that foster resilience and healing.
-
Distributed essential household items and supplies, easing the burden on families working hard to rebuild stability.
Our impact goes beyond numbers—it’s in the parent who no longer has to choose between groceries and bills, the child who goes to bed nourished and hopeful, and the individual who finds the courage to take one more step toward recovery.
Every effort at KWIT is fueled by the belief that when families thrive, communities flourish. With the support of our partners, donors, and volunteers, we continue to create a ripple effect of strength, dignity, and opportunity that reaches far beyond today.
Our impact
At KWIT, we measure success by the lives we touch and the hope we help restore.
